It’s easy to find engaging events in and around Marble Falls year-round, and several of them happen this month. February 4
Fine Art Exhibition at Marble Falls Library
Browse a collection of highly curated paintings from local talent and meet the artists themselves. A wide variety of styles, movements and mediums will be represented. Refreshments provided. The event runs from 5-6 p.m.

Wed, Thurs and Sundays in February
Eagle Eye Observatory Astronomy
See the stars up close. The public is welcome to attend the 8 p.m. Eagle Eye Observatory session held every Wednesday, Thursday, and Sunday in February at Canyon of the Eagles Resort. The observatory is a sliding-roof design with two independently retractable roof sections. The observatory provides modern telescopes with computer-enhanced imaging and astronomical instruments. Spectacular nighttime viewing!

Weekends in February
Live Music at Café 2300
Denise Moreau & Friends perform live at Cafe 2300 in Burnet on weekends in February from 5:30 – 8 p.m. Denise is a talented musician based here in the Hill Country. She describes her varied music styles as a sort of ‘gumbo’ of easy listening songs. Her set could include soft rock, country, Latin, Jazz and Blues from the 1930’s to 2022. Her performances are delightfully eclectic and entertaining as her talent flows to each listener. Don’t miss this local musical favorite.

February 5
Boots & BBQ Fundraiser
The fifth annual Boots & BBQ fundraiser for CASA at Horseshoe Bay Resort features live music, dancing, auctions and food. Good fun for a great cause.

February 26-27
Texas Treasure Show
A treasure hunters wonderland, this free event features exhibits and vendors of gold, silver, jewelry, artifacts, rocks, gems and fossils. Hosted by the Texas Association of Metal Detecting Clubs. Meet treasure hunter, author, and songwriter W.C. Jameson and world-famous metal detector Gypsy Jewels. There is even a free kids hunt this year.

Late February and Early March
Sweet Berry Farm’s Strawberry and Tulip Season
Enjoy berry picking at a beautiful local farm. No admission or parking fee, simply pay for the fruit you pick or the activities you wish to participate in.
