Turnout Exceeds Expectations for Gregg Ranch Grand Opening in Marble Falls Texas
May 11, 2021
Real estate investment and development company Harvard Investments recently celebrated the grand opening of Gregg Ranch, a 240-acre master-planned community in Marble Falls, Texas. The grand opening festivities included a VIP event for local businesses, vendor teams, press and city officials, as well as a realtor first look and two days of model home tours and celebrations. The city’s first new large-scale residential development in three decades is anticipated to be home to approximately 700 single-family homes, 250 multi-family residences and a commercial area. Pulte Homes, the community’s first builder, debuted new floor plans and designs specific to Gregg Ranch. Since December 2020, Pulte’s pre-sales have been going incredibly strong.
“We’re confident there is no better place to live within the greater Austin area than right here in Marble Falls,” said Chris Cacheris, senior vice president of Harvard Investments. “The demand we’ve already seen, with available tours and appointments filling rapidly, is a testament to the incredible location here in Marble Falls, the quality of Pulte Homes’ models and the design of Gregg Ranch. We’re incredibly appreciative of our local construction, engineering, masonry and landscaping teams as well as the positive interactions we’ve had working with the City of Marble Falls.”
More than 230 potential Gregg Ranch residents participated in the first official public unveiling of the community and tours of two new models and eight floorplan options. Every available tour reservation was quickly filled, with more than 40 additional walk-ins each day. Individuals and families of all ages and demographics including empty nesters, working adults, young families, growing families and active retirees spent time talking to the Pulte Homes sales team and touring the two gorgeous Pulte models. Homes offered include single-story homes as well as single-story with a loft option. Attendees enjoyed a slice of apple, peach or pecan Blue Bonnet Cafe pie and Numinous Coffee Roasters’ artisan coffees, teas and scones.
More than 35 Austin-area real estate professionals filled every available appointment for the Gregg Ranch Realtor First Look event, snapping photos and videos for their clients eager to learn more about available homes, floor plans and move-in timelines. Grand Opening visitors and real estate professionals were also able to view the first two parks, including a barn-style ramada nearing completion, enjoy the bocce courts, horseshoe pits, a “life-sized” checkers game or watch their kids try out the playground area.
The evening prior, Mayor John Packer and representatives from Gregg Ranch developer Harvard Investments welcomed those integral to the community’s success at a VIP event. Doug Moss of Moss Real Estate Partners expressed why the location was so special with its natural beauty, well-preserved ranch land and proximity to Marble Falls. Taylor Cheney, Pulte Group Director of Marketing for Central Texas, spoke about the special floor plans Pulte Homes has unveiled, specific for Gregg Ranch.
Gregg Ranch’s construction manager Nathan Neese of C3 Development in Austin, and Gregg Ranch’s Public Relations Director Heather Austin also expressed gratitude for the many team members who have been working tirelessly to complete the community including Bob Nolen and Ned Ross of Ross Construction; Greg Haley and D. Martin Stary of KC Engineering; Rick Rosenberg of DPFG; the team at P3 Works; Grant Keelty of Outback Masonry; Kirk Foster of Perfect Cuts Landscaping; Kelly Steele with Square Foot Solutions and numerous individuals with the City of Marble Falls including Mayor Packer, Christian Fletcher, Valerie Kreager, Scarlet Mareno and James Kennedy.
The VIP event featured entertainment from John Arthur Martinez Trio, dessert from Sugar Mamma Cookies, dinner to go from The Real New Orleans Style Restaurant with beverages provided by Bear King. The highlight of the evening was the color guard and pledge led by Marble Falls VFW Post 10376.
“It’s really the first development of its kind here in Marble Falls, with single family, multifamily, the trails and amenity center — and we’ve really had a need for it here. We hear from those working here in Marble Falls, especially at the hospital, that they’ve had to find housing closer to Austin, that there aren’t available houses in our city. Well, now there will be and we’re really excited about Gregg Ranch here in Marble Falls. It’s so nice to see it finally come to fruition after years of planning and work.”
Pulte Homes at Gregg Ranch seamlessly incorporate indoor and outdoor living spaces designed around entertaining and lifestyle and infused with smart technology.
