Spider Mountain Bike Park

It’s no secret that Marble Falls, Texas is known for boating, fishing, hunting, camping and all that Highland Lakes has to offer. But what else does the surrounding areas of Marble Falls offer? Take a short 40-minute drive to Burnet, Texas and find the only year-round, lift-serving bike park in The United States, known as
Spider Mountain Bike Park.

Located on the banks of Lake Buchanan just 25 miles north of Marble Falls, Spider Mountain is Texas built and gravity inspired. The bike park has its very own chairlift that rises 350 vertical feet. There are a total of nine trails from the top of the lift that cascade you to the bottom of the trail. You’ll be given a map with nine trails ranging from beginner to expert. The green trails are the easiest, blue trails are intermediate, and black are advanced. There truly is a trail for everyone to experience. The North Shore style trail includes nine wooden features. It won’t disappoint. Enjoy food trucks on the weekends but if your headed for a mid-week trip, we recommend packing your own food and water for your adventurous day at Spider Mountain.
