Best Schools in Marble Falls, TX 2020-2021 Update

Aug 25, 2020

The school year looks a bit different in 2020-21 but that won’t keep Marble Falls students from having great opportunities to learn and excel. As the new school year has just kicked off, we invite parents to check in with their schools weekly and help students and teachers remain safe and excited about learning.

Texas is currently giving school districts more flexibility to keep their school buildings closed to in-person instruction or open this fall according to Governor Greg Abbott. The Public Health Guidance for Education suggested school districts to stay virtual for the first three weeks to ensure safety procedures are in place before bringing students on campus, but Governor Abbott said these will have to be local-level decisions, and there will be flexibility and guidance provided to each district. See below for some current updates for our strong Marble Falls schools.

Marble Falls Independent School District

“We are pleased to announce that Marble Falls ISD is planning for school to be open for all students, every day, next year. Schools began on Wednesday, August 19, 2020. Parents have the option to select how their children receives instruction.” The district as of now is allowing parents to make the decision to continue online learning or sending their child to school. Marble Falls ISD is closely monitoring the Texas education Agency (TEA) and Governor Abbott during this time as we move into the fall.
