Enjoy Marble Falls’ Walkway of Lights

Nov 16, 2020

Getting out with friends and family to create memories is often one of the most important parts of celebrating the holidays. This season, visit Marble Falls for the spectacular 30th annual Walkway of Lights, which marks the start of the holiday season for many in Texas Hill Country.

Enjoy the spectacular view of more than two-million dazzling lights as you stroll along the path that meanders through Lakeside Park. Just minutes from Gregg Ranch, which is Marble Falls’ 240-acre, master-planned community that is coming soon, the Walkway of Lights is expected to attract hundreds this season.

The Walkway of Lights is open every evening until January 2, 2021. Public parking is available at Lakeside Park and alongside roads in downtown. Strollers and dogs are welcome. This year, the Walkway of Lights is giving back with the Christmas Card Project. They will be collecting Christmas Cards to send to local Senior Citizens in assisted living homes or are homebound. Drop your cards off at the Walkway of Lights, Visitor Center, or the Chamber of Commerce’s office during the week of Dec. 7 -12.

The 2020 route has been extended three blocks this year to allow for social distancing. The parade route will start at Broadway and Main Streets and travel south through downtown Marble Falls.

Scheduled theme nights will be happening throughout the duration of this event, so be sure to keep an eye out. Unfortunately, due to health concerns there will be no Santa this year. A concession stand is run by nonprofit organizations where you can grab a hot chocolate and other delicious holiday treats.

Get the family together for this wonderful community tradition that is the pride and joy of Marble Falls’ holiday season.
